1) Who's buried in David's tomb?
Well, the last known occupant was the body of David. That is the reason its called the tomb of David. (Acts 2:29).
2) Who's buried in Jesus' tomb?
The last thing we hear about it is that it was empty. It is called the tomb of Jesus only because He borrowed it for about three days. Its not every day that a tomb is borrowed and then returned because its occupant no longer needs it. (Acts 2:31,32).
"Why do you seek the Living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen." - words spoken to the women by the angel at the newly empty tomb of Jesus (Luke 24:5,6).
It is my hope that the significance of all this is not lost on any who have taken the time to take this simple quiz (Romans 1:4).
