Evidences supporting the existence of God fall into two main categories; internal (within the Bible; such as fulfilled prophecy) and external (outside the Bible; such as design in nature) evidences. God has not left Himself without witness. Below are some descriptions of articles which examine some of these evidences. Please feel free to download any of the articles that interest you.


The Bible and Archaeology - Archaeology confirms the trustworthiness of the Bible. This article discusses evidence concerning Sodom and Gomorrah, Jericho, Pharoah Shishak and the Moabite Stone.

Challenging the Atheist - The unbeliever also believes in something! He believes that something is eternal; that life came from non-life; that design in nature is accidental, and that his own thought processes are the end result of random occurences.

The atheist gloated over the debates in the magazine between Jews and Christians and religious strife in general. Examined is the idea that religious conflict actually proves God does not exist.

The Riddle of Creation and the Answer - Dr. Robert Jastrow is a respected scientist and astronomer. He is also an agnostic, but that did not keep him from writing a book entitled "God and the Astronomers". In it he discusses some developments in science and their religious implications in such an honest way that he expected a great deal of objection from his less objective colleagues.

More Than an Animal - Man is distinct from the others of earth's creatures in many ways. He is a creature capable of moral decisions and of offering worship. He is physically unique, has unique thinking ability, a unique place in creation and is inventive.

The Resurrection: Fact or Hoax? - Jesus arose from the grave. Here is an examination of the event with emphasis placed on showing that Jesus really died and really rose from the dead.

What's the Chance We Are Wrong About Jesus? - The odds against Jesus being who He claimed to be are so very small that they cannot be comprehended.When the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled are lined up and examined, we find it very difficult to disbelieve.

Evidences, Prophecy and Revelation - The Bible's standard for what constitutes true prophecy is very stringent. If someone is not 100% accurate in his prophecy, then he is not a true prophet. Other criteria is that a prophecy will not contradict truth already delivered and the prophet himelf will be moral. What The Unity of the Bible Tells Us - The unity of the Bible confirms that it is the work of God.

The Origin of the Universe - Examined are various theories as to how our universe came to exist. Included are the nebular theory, the big bang theory, the steady state theory and the creation theory.

I Read it in a Book - The book is the Old Testament. The subject is Jesus. There is much to read about Jesus in the Old Testament, even though it was written over 400 years before Jesus was born.

Building Faith on Reason - This article answers the questions: Why believe in God? Why believe the Bible? Why Believe in Jesus? Why believe in God's love? Why believe in salvation? Why believe in the Biblical lifestyle?

The Challenge: Why Believe the Testimony? - The challenge was Jesus'. It is found in John 5:31-40. He cited the testimony of John, the testimony of the signs He had done, the testimony of the Father and the testimony of the Scripture as witnesses to His identity.

Cyrus Will Perform All My Desire - Examined here is the prophecy Isaiah made concerning the Persian king Cyrus in Isaiah 44:28. The remarkable thing about this is that Isaiah calls Cyrus by name and specifcally states what he will do. Isaiah also died over 100 years before Cyrus was born.
